Emerald Lakes is a well established, active and growing amenity filled community. You'll find six lakes with several beaches. Deer Lake and Lower Deer Lake are both naturally made lakes courtesy of the Wisconsin Glacier which is responsible for the many swamps, lakes, rocks and boulders in the Poconos. Multiple boat launch areas are available for canoes, kayaks, row boats and small electric motor powered boats.
There's always something to do in Emerald Lakes. Additional amenities include three playgrounds, picnic areas, tennis courts, basketball courts and an indoor pool. The community center offers a wide variety of facilities including 2 saunas, separate adult and teen rec rooms, a lending library and a multi-purpose room which is equipped with a big-screen TV, stereo system and karaoke machine. The Emerald Grill and Bar is also located in the Community Center and features a variety of choices nightly. Whether you prefer sunning yourself on the beach, taking a stroll past the lake on a cool summer evening or attending a community event, you'll find plenty of activities to keep you busy.
Emerald Lakes is located in the center of the Poconos, Long Pond, PA. which features one of the most diverse eco-systems in the world.
