Stroud Township Parks
Many of the parks are devoted to hiking, picnicking and a few ball fields.
Jay Albertson Park offers a playground and duck pond. Dansbury Park
Swimming, Picnicking, Basketball and Day Camp
Stroudsburg Parks & Recreation
Five parks offering a variety of activities from swimming,
picnicking, playgrounds, basketball courts, bike trails & ball fields
as well as a Skate Court & Picnic Pavillion.
Fishing on the Brodhead, Pocono Creek and McMichaels Creek

(formerly the Pohopoco Tract), Tunkhannock Township —
13 miles of summer trails.
Access is from Route 115 five miles south of I-80.
Burnt Mills
Porter Township, Pike County — 7 miles of summer and winter trails.
Access is from a parking area on Route 402 one mile south of Porters Lake.
Registered Class II ATVs less than 58 inches in width and less than 1,200 pounds
are permitted on this trail.
Maple Run Tract
Blooming Grove Township, Pike County —
8 miles of summer trails. Access is from a parking area
on Route 402 1¾ miles north of the village of Pecks Pond.
Registered Class II ATVs less than 58 inches in width and less than 1,200 pounds
are permitted on this trail. ATV Seasons:
The summer season runs from the Friday before Memorial Day
through the last full weekend in September.
The winter season runs from the day following the last day of the regular
